Stefano Miceli has quickly established a reputation as a brilliant pianist and conductor. He’s piano solo performances in the Carnegie Hall, Berliner Philharmonie, Gewandhaus Leipzig, Beijing Forbidden City Concert Hall, Great Hall in Melbourne, B. Rhome Theatre in Washington DC, Bangkok Siam Ratchada Theatre, Tbilisi Opera House, Fenice Opera House, Bellini Opera House and other theatres.

 

Stefano’s played with orchestras such as the Leipzig Philharmonic Orchestra at the Gewandhaus (as the Principal Guest Artist and Conductor in 2010/12), Orchestra of la Fenice, Scala Chamber Orchestra, Salzburg of Mozarteum, Beijing Symphony Orchestra.

 

Stefano is dedicated to teaching as Visiting and Distinguished Professor at the Boston University, Tanglewood Institute, “J.S.Bach Conservatory of Music” in Leipzig, Bangkok University, Steinway Society, University of New Mexico,  National Academy of Music in Hanoi Vietnam, Malta National Academy of Arts, Ho Chi Minh Conservatory of Music, International Keyboard Academy in Bangkok, El Sistema Foundation in Venezuela.

 

He is invited as jury member in competitions such as the “Mozart Piano Competition” in Thailand, “Richmond Piano Competition” USA, “Magda Olivero Voice Competition” in Saluzzo, Malta International Competition and many others.

 

Stefano was given the Silver Medal by the Italian President Giorgio Napolitano (2008) and the “New York Bravo Award” prize career (2012).

 

He is the Music Director at the Milano Metropolitan Orchestra, currently Executiv Music Director at the Bellini Opera Foundation Michigan.

 

Stefano Miceli is Chairman and Music Professor in New York City at the Scuola d'Italia "Guglielmo Marconi and Piano Professor at the Prestige Performances School of Music in Michigan.

 

in 2015 he was awarded at the Carnegie Hall as Absolute winner Professor by the American Protegé Piano Competition.
